Welcome to Visitors

The Adelaide Christadelphians welcome visitors.  We aim to provide a happy and comfortable environment in which to understand God's word, the Bible, while also encouraging the development of Christ-like practice, which permeates its pages.

Being keen to spread the Bible's complete message, the majority of our activities are designed for education and instruction, while also encouraging fellowship and interaction.  We are united by a genuine belief and faith in God, in an understanding of the saving work of Jesus, and in an endeavour to increase our faith.

Christadelphians have a firm basis of beliefs concerning the good news of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.  These are listed with relevant Bible proofs - CLICK HERE.

The focal gathering of the week is known as the Memorial Meeting which is usually held each Sunday morning.  This is the opportunity for those who are committed to Christ through baptism, to remember the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus through the partaking of bread and wine.  We also welcome visitors to hear the words of encouragement and participate in the singing of hymns and songs.

Christadelphians provide opportunity for newcomers to the Christian message to understand God's word in the form of lectures and seminars.  Topics are wide ranging with a variety of subjects from those that enjoy historical through to academic subjects, to those looking for a moral basis for living, or most importantly, our relationship with the Almighty God and Jesus Christ His son. All this and much more are frequently presented in both presentation and discussion format.  All presentations and discussions are taken directly from teachings and stories in the Bible.  We make every effort to eliminate human bias and traditions which corrupt the true message.

Another activity regularly held by most Christadelphian gatherings is Bible Class.  This is an opportunity to delve more deeply into the pages of scripture and discover the magnificence of the many layers of God's messages for mankind.  word We often have visitors in this meeting who wish to learn more than the fundamental basic teachings of the Bible. This class is designed usually as a presentation, with time for questions or comments at the end.  There is always the opportunity for discussions after the class.  This class is less formal than the Sunday morning meeting, however, those not familiar with the Bible may find some classes difficult to follow. This is a class that does bring out the amazing holiness of the Bible due to it being written under instruction from God.delve

Visitors wishing to attend are requested to register to allow for enough seating and provision for notes.  All activities are at no cost to those attending and no collection will be taken.  Christadelphians placed no pressures on attendees due to our belief that faith and understanding in the Lord God must be heartfelt, and this is developed by God, not from us.
